Acer Palmatum ‘Emerald Lace’ 5 Litre

This Acer has a fantastic show of bright green leaves from spring through to summer where the leaves turn a deep emerald. The foliage then turns into an impressive dark red in the autumn, to then loose its leaves in the winter, then grow back bright green to start the year again. Emerald Lace is fantastic for smaller spaces with its more compact, dense growing habit. In the latter part of the year, the leaf system falls revealing a vibrant stem ideal for highlighting in your garden. This Acer will grow in both acidic and neutral soils and prefers a free draining but moist soil. Emerald Lace will grow in full sun or a partially shaded area providing its sheltered. The potential height for this Acer is 3m and the potential spread is 2m over 20 years growth, which can be restricted when grown in a pot.
