The Betula utilis Snow Queen has the potential, when planted into the ground, to become a large fully grown tree. The Snow Queen has a snowy white bark, giving it its name, with an orange under layer. The leaves are a shaded green and the tree grows catkins in the autumn. This tree enjoys a moist, but well drained compost. When grown in a large pot the potential height, over a number of years is 6 metres and the potential spread can be 4 metres. Please note, the image shown is an almost fully grown tree as an example. This plant is sold as a young plant in a 12 litre pot.
