Lonicera (Honeysuckle) is a wonderfully fragrant and versatile climber, ideal for covering walls, fences or arches in your garden. The long tubular flower buds are goblet shape and are vibrantly coloured. As the flower bud opens, lovely displays in a variety of shades are produced with the tubular buds becoming trumpet like. This great climber will attract pollinators into the garden and looks fantastic with its clusters of flower heads in season. At the end of the year the leaves drop revealing a bare stem, which is a good time to assess any pruning work needed. The potential height and spread is up to 8m but will vary by type.
