Pieris ‘Forest Flame’ 10 Litre

An ideal evergreen shrub for shady conditions or a woodland area, Pieris Japonica Forest Flame will lighten up darker areas of the garden e. g. under tree canopies. The young leaves are bright red, becoming pink and then finally green. Small cream bell shaped flowers appear in clusters in spring contrasting with the evergreen foliage. Pieris Japonica Forest Flame grows in moist but well drained acidic (ericaceous) soil and benefits from an annual mulch over winter. The potential height of this shrub is 3m and the potential spread is 3m over 20 years.
