An ideal evergreen shrub for shady conditions or a woodland area, Pieris Japonica Forest Flame will lighten up darker areas of the garden e. g. under tree canopies. The young leaves are bright red, becoming pink and then finally green. Small cream bell shaped flowers appear in clusters in spring contrasting with the evergreen foliage.
