Prunus lusitanica or Portuguese Laurel is a wonderful, evergreen shrub that is ideal for hedging in your garden. The dark red stems are covered in deep green foliage and are joined in early summer by small white flowers. In Autumn dark, purple fruit appear following the flowers.
